Legami: environmental projects

LEGAMI, founded in 2003, has always been a creative workshop careful to innovation and beauty tied to materials and production processes. A young and dynamic Company, always in search of new trends and ideas to surprise the market with exclusive and original products, full of irony, color and newness.

The goal is offering people all over the world the opportunity to live and let live positive and pleasant emotions. Legami is a universe of products that explore 15 different worlds, ranging from Stationery, Planners and Calendars, Travel, to Home, Lifestyle, Beauty, Hi-Tech: every product is a unique experience that accompanies and lightens up people’s daytime.

Being always very concerned with green and social issues, Legami has been starting its own path towards Business Sustainability for some years, i.e. the assimilation of sustainability goals within Company’s values and strategies, with the aim to continue its growth path respecting the environment and the ethical and social principles in which it believes.

Coherently with this path, Legami has assessed its Company’s carbon footprint, in partnership with Rete Clima, in order to evaluate and manage its own climate footprint and become climate neutral (climate zero impact).

Autumn 2021: Allain Duhangan Hydropower Plant - Kuli District, Pradesh (India)

Autumn 2021: Maisa REDD+ Project - Cairari Moju, Pará (Brasil)

Autumn 2022: REDD project Brazil nut concessions in Madre de Dios, Perù.

Autumn 2022: MRMPL Wind Power Project - Wind Energy in India

Autumn 2022: 5 MW Solar Power Project by Baba Group, India

 

Forestry project in Italy

Legami, in autumn 2021, donated trees to the city of Cormano (Milan), according to the activities of Rete Clima italian forestation campaign "Foresta Italia": the plantation has been achieved thanks to the active participation of the employees, under the Patronage of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Legami forestation activity in Cormano is part of Foresta Italia, the new Rete Clima's national forestry campaign started in spring 2022 in partnership with Coldiretti and PEFC.
